As a critical strike portable early gamer, I think we should group up and start playing critical strike again
What's on your mind?
How do you get the credits such as the blue credits, pink candies, etc. I've been wondering this since i've started. Thanks!
As most of us know, the game died and the servers are down now, even though, a bunch of people like this game. If you still want to play it, get the standalone version of the game and download the maps pack file (links below), go to Multiplayer menu and select LAN, host or join a server there (I'm 90% sure portforwarding is not required in order to other players join your own server. Also, the other players must have the map which is being hosted, so you must download it to join a game). I have also made a Google Hangouts group so the players won't get lost at all (or just stick with one of the discord servers) since the game's chat is down aswell. Good luck!
Standalone game link > Click here
Maps pack link (to install a map, simply drop them in the game's main directory) > Minimal: Click here | Click here (on this webpage, you can simply copy & paste the link from one of the maps and add their URL in the game) | Full: Click here | Click here (There is no need to download all of them, you can install the maps by their URL, like as I said before. Click on one of the maps, you will be redirected to the download page, right click the green download box in the page and copy the address, paste the URL in CSP)
Google Hangouts group > Click here
Quick question guys, what are those red crosses for? i walked through them but nothing happened. Same for the pink bomb looking thinggy.
A new page has been created detailing information on the various roles available in the Critical Ops / CS Portable Wiki. This page not only documents the responsibilities and abilities that each role has, but the requirements for earning such roles if anyone is inquiring about how to get any of them, as well as which users have any of these roles.
Note that all of these roles and not just admin require commitment and dedication to the wiki. Also, requests will be looked at when we feel the need for more administrators.
How can I leave a clan once I accept the invitation? I am not sure this is the clan I want to be in permanently, so I want to know before I join.
- Go to filters.
- Switch to another region.
- Go back to main menu.
- Go back to filters and select automatic.
This is the solution the moderators are telling people if their ranked is locked. I will update this thread if the solution is ineffective for most people or if another solution is found.
Yes, I know I was 6 days late, but still, this is at least somewhat of a milestone! Two years of sharing and discussing content about Critical Strike Portable and Critical Ops, now getting nearly 1,000 page views a day!
To make things better, our Discord server has reached 100 members! Thanks to all the people, whether that be viewers or editors who made this possible!
Here's to another great year!
I have problem with login or register. When i write login, mail and pass, i have screen: Error: Could not resolve host: serv.igorinside.com; Host not found
What do you like about, love about or hate about it; tell us why down below! Has your opinion changed after the PC shutdown a few months ago? What are some suggestions to make the game better?
Leave your thoughts down below!
Due to increased article vandalism, all users must make an account or login to edit or participate in the forums. If you still wish to discuss stuff during this event, join our Discord server (located on the right side rail).
Here's a link to our Discord just in case: https://discord.gg/SypQvwj
Apologies for the inconvience. It's a countermeasure to prevent further vandalism to articles.
Recently, there has been incidents of edits from anonymous users that were biased, opinionated and false. We do not want to take sides of which (weapon, map, etc) is better than the other. We want to present info in a neutral point of view, similar to an encyclopedia-style format.
Here's a general guideline (from the policy page) of what we look for when users edit:
- Use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. A spell checker is especially useful in this case. Colloquialisms and slang are not accepted.
- Before publishing an edit, use the edit preview to check for any errors or mistakes. This is especially useful in the case of editing source code.
- Edits should not be based on false information.
- Edits should be based on a neutral point of view. Examples of edits that are not to be published include: "This is a noob weapon", "overpowered/Too OP", "very very very high damage", etc.
HOWEVER: If you want to make an opinionated statement, post on the General Discussion or Off-Topic forum boards or make a blog post. On those locations, opinions can be published. Just be sure to keep things appropriate.
If you see vandalism, try to revert it. I don't want to have to disable editing for people without an account again.
Vandalism I've reverted since this post
- I just came across some gibberish stating that a disadvantage of the SG 551 was that the user would be called a noob and immediately reverted it. Just another example of what cannot be put in an article.
- Blocked another vandal who tried to make a suggestion inappropriately thus making a fool of himself.
- Blocked some guy who vandalized the SG 551 article.
- Blocked another vandal.
Here, you can discuss stuff about the game or the wiki outside of the site! We'll be seeing if this feature will work out well; it may or may not be permanent.
